I followed the instructions and got perfect ravioli first time. The mould doesn't cut the ravioli out for you, but the serrations seal the ravioli so once you've turned them out of the mould (with a little persuasion this was easy enough) you can use a knife or scissors to cut the individual pieces out. A couple more tips (which are also in the instructions): roll the ravioli from the middle outwards. Secondly, even though it's non-stick, you still need to flour the mould first.
The mould itself has rubber feet which reduce it slipping around while you're rolling. It's got a really nice weight to it, feels well made - I'm confident I would get years of use out of this little gadget. This is one happy customer!
