Also, it's inconvenient to unscrew each time so may need a large spage to store. She was tickled pink with it, though, and despite the drawbacks it does look good.
delivery poor - stand broken
am so disappointed that the stand was smashed when it was delivered. the packaging is VERY poor and i'm totally unsurprised that the lower base was in pieces. was easy enough to exchange although i had to organise for DHL to come and collect it. Amazon were good at sending a new stand before the broken one was returned but when i received the second stand it was packaged in exactly the same way and, of course, was smashed again. i'm now very frustrated and have asked for a refund - not sure how simple it is going to be to sort that out. this has put me off buying anything else that is fragile from Amazon as it was only to be delivered to the South of Scotland and the packaging was 100% unsuitable.
Very nice product, but very poor packaging
I was looking forward to display the food for my daughter comunnion party on this very nice plate, but when it arrived the bottom plate was chipped badly. The whole thing looked really very nice and I could picture all lovely elegant canapes on it, but the packaging was extremely poor for such item: everything loose in the box with only small sheet of cardboard between to quite heavy glass plates, not suitable for posting at all. No bubble wrap or any other protection for the glass. I`ll be looking for similar item in regular shops, will not risk delivery again.
