bought this the other day at Lakeland and have used it once with outstanding success. Used the Paul Hollywood recipe i.e. 250gr bread flower, 5 gr. salt, 7 gr. dried yeast, 30 mil olive oil and 180 mil water, which was at blood temp. Put the whole lot in a food mixer with a dough hook attachment, whizzed it for 5 mins and left it to rise, knocked it back and shaped into two baguettes left that to rise. Dusted it with a flour/semolina mix then into a preheated oven at 220 C with a tray of water in the bottom for 30 mins and then 200 C for 10 mins. Two fit nicely. I've made baguettes before but just on a tray where they flatten out. This baguette tray holds them round.

I bought this direct from 'Lakeland' when I happened to be there yesterday.
It is light and flexible and easy to store away. It worked well for me - I put 2 baguettes in it to prove and then cooked them in it placed on a baking tray - as per normal.I do not quite understand why another reader thought a baking tray would not be needed.
I am not sure that it would really take 3 baguettes - unless very thin - otherwise I think they might 'overflow' into each other.
This was my first attempt at making Paul Hollywood's baguettes and although I found my oven was a little too hot and the bread was a bit overcooked it tasted wonderful and had a genuine French baguette crispy crust!
I have given it 4 stars because never having used a baguette tray before I have nothing to compare it with. Maybe I should have given it 5! I shall be using the baguette tray again very soon.
