As always, Amazon were quick to deliver and the item was very well packed in bubble wrap and brown paper and then placed in 2 cardboard boxes, one inside the other. Amazon clearly went to a lot of trouble to ensure that the dish got to me safely which is why I decided to keep it, despite it being made incorrectly.

This was my first Dignon purchase and I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with what I received. The mark in the clay and missing glaze tend to make the dish look more like a factory second instead of a high quality piece of French pottery.

I was hoping that this would be my first in my future collection of Dignon...
