What can I say, made a sticky loaf in this tin and it just slid right out without even having to tap it and it was evenly baked. There was no buckling either, in fact this product seems so sturdy I doubt it will ever buckle, or at least not for many many years. I would definitely recommend this product and the brand overall as I have bought other bakeware items which are equally as good.
It would have been helpful if the description confirmed that it was 2lb loaf tin, as a lot of recipes seem to state that you need a 1lb or 2lb loaf tin and being a bit of a novice baker, I couldn't tell from the measurements. I can confirm that this product is definitely suitable for 2lb.
Excellent quality and convincing baking result
I purchased this loaf pan as I couldn't find any another 9x5 inch (23) loaf pans here in Germany. All the loaf pans here are much bigger (30 to 35 cm) and my mum used to buy only the Kaiser bakeware that I always believed to be superior to this relatively cheap loaf pan.
But I must admit I was wrong. When I first held it in my hands the Circulon loaf pan made a very "heavy" impression. I have no idea what it's made out of but it gives a rather solid impression, finely coated with some sort of non-stick coating. Yet I use to grease and flour all bakeware I find this a very remarkable loaf tin as I made a lemon syrup sponge which is pretty sticky but came out perfect and even had a nice print from the Circulon rings on top. It was easy to clean and I am really happy to have bought such a good product for such a small price.
I think the only reason I'm so excited about this product is because I made that lemon syrup cake with a Kaiser La Forme Plus loaf pan for around 35 Euros...
Excellent baking tin
This tin is great for all baking needs. The non-stick aluminium construction really does work excellently, meaning that nothing being baked gets stuck (much) to the tray, making both use and cleaning simple and easy.
The handles at the side are somewhat useful to allow you to more easily pick up the tin. They lie fairly flat, making for easier storage. Buy more than one and they stack together exceedingly well, which is useful given how slipperly the non-stick is.
So far, nothing to complain about. The non-stick element doesn't appear to be a coating as such, but embedded throughout the material, so no worries about being ultra delicate with it. Keep the oven under 240 degrees or so (a 300 degree grill will cause damage) and everything should be fine.
Finally, whilst not recomended, I have put these in the dishwasher a few times with no ill effects, but to be honest, they are so easy to clean - just wipe them with hot soapy water - that this probably...
