I just mixed it all in and the cake came out fine.

I bought this cake mold thinking it would make for a hassle free pony cake for our 5 year olds horse themed birthday party. I followed the instructions to the letter and tried 4 times, but everytime this cake stuck to the tin and broke. Ended up throwing away four lots of sponge and having to make a completly different cake. So much for hassle free. If anyone can help me make this work i would be exstatic, at the moment however this is just gathering dust in a cupboard.
