I bought this rolling pin mainly to roll out sugar paste as I find it too difficult doing this with a rolling pin without handles. The nonstick bit only comes into force when you've floured the rolling pin to the max. I recently used it to roll out biscuit dough and I had to make sure to keep the pin floured, otherwise it stuck to the dough. All in all a good product, it's heavy and you know it's not going to fall apart or break, although I do find it a bit expensive for what it is. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose.
