Self Raising Flour - 350g
*Milk - 6 teaspoons
*Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
*Variation which I have also tried is to use 6 teaspoons of lemon juice instead of milk and the zest of 2.5 lemons instead of vanilla essence
Approx cooking time is 150c (static not fan oven) for 1 hour 15 mins, bottom shelf

Pre heat the oven and butter and flour your cake tin
Beat together the sugar and butter until pale and fluffy
Mix in the eggs one at a time
Gently fold in the flour a third at a time

I bought this for my sons first birthday a few weeks ago. Party was held last weekend and the cake was a success. I used two packs of two-layer cake mix, would recommend using three, maybe four and level off. I also used wilton cake release grease which is a fab product. Pan is durable, use soap and warm water - non scratch scourer advised for cleaning. It also comes with advice on icing, decoration, etc. which I followed at times. I used ready rolled icing, 1kg pack which was plenty. In all the cake cost less than ordering from a specialist.
