I bought this tin to make a birthday cake for my son as my previous one was 8", but the problem with this is that its not deep enough and since i increased my recipe from an 8" to 10" the cake ended up being to dense and didnt rise. If u want to bake in it id say use an 8inch cake recipe for it. or go for a deeper tin
