Below is my initial review of this product which was written when I was really teed off about the length of time it took to replace. I do want to emphasize however that the stand now replaced is great and I would give the actual stand a four star and only because I use these regularly and would prefer that I didn't have to assemble it every time I use it. I had one that held together with metal rods and screws and it was fantastic for a portability point of view, but this stand other than that is definitely the better one.
DO BUY A 5MM AND NOT A 3MM - THE DIFFERENCE IS MASSIVE.

I bought this from another site. It arrived without instructions so I took all the protective paper off and assembled it. More correctly I tried to assemble it. Some of the supports went in very easily and some wouldn't go in no matter what I did. It ended up slipping with the result being that two of the supports broke and one of the plates...

An excellent product, fits together well and very robust. I agree with the last reviewer 5mm is the right thickness for this product anything thinner would not take the weight. Excellent service from the supplier. Construction takes a little time but I'm happy with this because I need it to be portable!
