I have had two replacements for this one item, and all three have been returned. Th enamel rusts, or is rusted when it arrives, the silicone sealer inside the lid comes off constantly, it is not easy to open, needing considerable strength, and the first tin was battered and scratched when it arrived. This is straight from the manufacturer, as far as I can tell, and not Amazon's fault, and faulty goods have been sent out each of the three times. I would definitely NOT recommend this Cake Tin to anyone.
Woeful
I owned this product for just short of one year, during which time it rusted quite badly on the outside, especially on the bottom, and ended up looking completely shoddy, in addition to my concern that the rusty rough surface would damage and stain my kitchen worktop, so I had to throw it out.
I bought all of the typhoon metal storage in this range (cake tin, bread bin, utensil storage, tea, sugar, coffee canisters etc) and without exception ALL of them suffered from this rusting problem.
I am glad that I waited until now to review, as if I had reviewed these products in the first week following purchase my reviews would have been largely positive. It is only through prolonged usage that the rusting materialised and the products in general dont seem constructed with the humid/steamy kitchen environment in mind.
In summary: poor quality materials and a complete waste of my time and money. I will never again buy any kind of metal kitchen storage from...

Arrived on time. Looks great and definitely air-tight but lid is difficult to get off so not ideal for someone elderly or arthritic. Scratches far too easily so expecting it too look old and battered very soon - wouldn't recommend
