Was absolutley delighted when i received the cake stand. It looks great with lots of colourful cupcakes on. Perfect for the amount of cupcakes i made and bought. I initially set up the 3 cake stand thinking I had taken the plastic film off all three stand compartments, and I spent quite a while washing off the crayon marking. It was at this point I could see the scratches that people mentioned that had occurred whilst I was washing the stand. But eventually I could see that there was a small bit of film sticking up on the bottom tier and when I took this off I could see this lovely bright shiny bottom tier. But the next two looked slightly off colour and I looked and looked and eventually managed to scratch a piece of the plastic in the centre hole and when I took the film off, it looked absolutely amazing. So maybe I am a bit dim (no I'm not), but it was not that easy or obvious to get this plastic off. I think if the instructions had mentioned that the film is on both sides of the cake tiers, I would have known better to look for it. Or maybe I should unpack it in the bright sunshine next time! Anyway I love it, and I love the light...
