Ideal for two!
These high quality dishes are ideal for the two of us. They can be put in the freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Really easy to handwash. The colour really makes them look attractive. I'm slowly changing all of my cookware to Le Creuset. Beautiful dishes!!
Disappointed.
I bought three of the 18cm Stoneware rectangular dishes. One I used quite regularly in the oven without problems.
Then one I used for the first time and it cracked in the center within 5 minutes of putting it in the oven - (alongside my regularly used one, containing exactly the same ingredients, which was fine!!)
I am very disappointed with this as Le Creuset is such a well respected name. I have read of this happening to the larger dishes, from previous reviews, so I thought I'd play it safe and buy the smaller ones! I understand you should not put the dish into the oven from the freezer and am quite careful re cold surfaces etc. It still cracked - maybe there was a fault with this one..?
