Great product and easy to assemble
Fantasic cake stand, even has a light down the middle! Great product and easy to assemble, you don't necessarily have to have all 5 tiers although the light has to start on the largest tier. I managed to cram 60 cupcakes onto mine (not muffin size).
disappointing
Received my maypole 5 tier cake stand recently and unfortunately i was very disappointed. Tiers were scratched and marked with big black semicircular stains which faded when washed but by no means disappeared. It states that manufacturers covering is still in place when delivered but they fail to tell you that only one side of each tier is protected and the other side is very badly scratched. Also might be worth noting that there is a very noticable "blue" effect from the cake stand. On the plus side, it is very sturdy and the tier dividers look nice and also scratches and marks might not be noticable when cakes are in place. Might have been tempted to give it a 3 star had there not been a note in the box offering pillars and extra tiers etc at a way reduced price if you give it a 5 star review on amazon.
