Great waffler

I love this waffle iron!
Wanted a waffle iron which was easy to clean. Hate all that fiddly cleaning, al'a snackwich machine. Found this got great reviews by americans on amazon.com. And it delivers in every way. So easy to use on the stove top (we have gas and it worked great) and I made seriously good waffles using the recipe which comes with the waffle maker. It's non stick but you do need to use a bit of oil with it when cooking. Best thing was when i'd finished i could literally throw the whole thing in a sink of hot soapy water and that was that, cleaned in less than 5 minutes. The only bit i think i need to master a bit better is that the oil smoked quite a bit but i'll fiddle around with the temperature and i'm sure i'll get it tight. Really happy with my purchase.

excellent low-tech product
(Did write earlier review in Oct 2012 when I bought this but it hasn't appeared). Earlier I said excellent customer service, v prompt, good price. Now I've used product and can say it is brilliant. I always brush lightly with oil before putting batter in and you have to become familiar with timing on each side. But absolutely delicious, real 'Belgian' style waffles with v deep indentations, crispy, brown...yum! Recipe with item for Belgian waffles works perfectly. It is a yeast waffle but only requires 45 minutes rising so can be done same morning, no hassle. So great to be able simply to immerse in hot soapy water to clean, no trailing flexes etc. etc. Really puzzled by amazon.com reviewer with sticking problems - excellent turnout for me. But as I say I do always brush with oil first, takes about 2 secs.

Nice But A Bit Small
I bought this to make a favourite recipe of mine which requires this kind of pan. As soon as I poured the mixture into the pan I realised the pan was far too small. The cake didn't cook properly, though it did not stick and came out of the pan well. I have since searched the Internet for suitable recipes for this pan but so far have only found recipes which require a bigger pan. The seller did offer a money back guarantee but the cake tester I used made a slight scratch on the bottom of the pan so I didn't attempt to return it.

Bought this as asked to a friends daughters birthday cake in June and wanted to practice before hand, as it turned out the first attempt was a disaster but that was down to my oven on its last legs, took next one to a friends to bake and it turned out perfectly, I used a 4 egg mix and put more in the base part than the top, I would recommend trex to grease with, mine just fell out with no sticking at all. Used this to create the top of repunzels tower for my own daughters birthday cake this month and it was a great hit with everyone. I would cook the 2 parts seperatly as they will take different lengths of time to cook. The dip mould that came with it is great worked a treat filled the dip with buttercream and jam. Would recommend this item as easy to use and clean, may take an attempt or two to get it right as no real recipe in the box but overall really pleased!!

Giant Cupcake Heaven!
I purchased this set for a birthday party I was throwing, and it is a very good combination, using the top, bottom and insert to make a huge cupcake!

My only quibble is that the top part cooks quicker than the bottom, and so you have to judge carefully when to remove each from the oven... also cakes need a LONG time baking - despite recipe instructions it has taken well over 80 minutes on occasion, to ensure the whole cake is cooked through. The cake comes out VERY easily from the mold - however I use a lowfat cooking spray on the inside, and dust with flour, before putting the cake mix in (just to help) and this seems to work a little better than just the cake mix on its own.

Make sure you have plenty of people to share the cake with - it really does serve loads - especially if you cover with yummy frosting. I took one to my works Christmas party and everyone was gobsmacked! Really worth the money. Consider buying a gym membership or exercise bike alongside this...

Bad quality
I already own this mould from another brand, which works perfectly. This brand however is bad. The top wasn't round, but bubbly. It was damaged and didn't fit the bottom. The box had already been opened, so it looked like someone else already send it back. Don't buy it, it's rubbish.

Brilliant
I used it with a bit of Dr Oetker cake release and it just slid out perfectly :) I'm a happy bunny and so is my Daughter who had a gorgeous giant cupcake for her birthday :) Its going to be used again and again. Theres so many different things you can do with the cupcake shape too, it doesnt necessarily have to be a cupcake, it could be a little cottage if the bottom is turned upside down or a little fairy castle, just decorate it the way you want.

Exactly what I wanted
The cupcake mould was exactly what I was expecting, it has yet to be used but I am hoping it will live up to my expectations. There is loads of different recipe idea's you can use with this mould, and it even provides a mould so you can use filling.

I defiantly recommend.

Not quite what I hoped for, but actually very good.
I had been looking high and low for actual Pizza Pans - the dark, deep pans you see used in takeaways - for making my own pizzas at home.

I couldn't really find them, so I ended up settling on these. As it turns out, these are more similar to the products that places like Pizza Hut use (except theirs have holes in them).

The pans themselves are a good size - 12" being perfect in my opinion. They seem a little thin, but feel quite sturdy.

I've used them a few times now and they produce a nicely coloured base that a simple baking tray does not. They're also really easy to clean and to pick up, with or without a pizza on them. Very happy overall. Probably should have got more than two though for when the family is round!

It doesn't fit my standard sized nozzles. I already have a different coupler that fits perfectly, not sure what this one is supposed to fit. Doubly disappointed as I bought two.

pretty but not user friendly
these butterfly cake toppers are pretty but are much smaller than i had expected so the lovely patterns cant be seen very well.i thought they would be pre-punched out and there not so have to cut them out with scissors!this means losing the antenae and am going to have to have a very steady hand and sharp scissors if i want a decent end result.too fiddly,too small.wont recomend,wont buy again.on the bright side they did arrive quickly.

Nice but beware.....
Lovely pictures, however did assume that there would be perferations or that they would be ready to use. So although this product was quite cheap in comparison to others available from other sellers it was a complete hassle having to cut them all out and because they are quite small there was substantial white edging left so they look a bit odd on coloured icing.
Wouldn't buy them again, would go for the more expensive options.

Much smaller than I expected but are still very pretty, although the colouring is not as vibrant as expected either. probably would not buy them again as it takes too long and is quite fiddly to cut them out. Am a little disappointed.

Sweet but pale
Really added to the Gruffalo theme and looked good on the party table but they are very pale. I recomend only using them on white icing but even then they can look almost fadded. Worth it tho if your child loves the Gruff as much as mine.
